While updating my calendar for September I got excited about the Labor Day weekend and the NFL football season starting. However, my mood was tempered by seeing Patriot Day on September 11th and remembering back to what occurred on that day 15 years ago. It got me thinking about why Patriot Day isn’t a Federal Holiday and why we don’t do a better job of celebrating and remembering.
